Alexander Rubinchik was born to a Jewish family in Soviet Russia. With that personal history, the founding and continued survival of Israel is an important aspect of his personal and cultural identity. The milestone of 70 years for Israel was a huge moment for him and his people. He joined with Hublot to create an amazing timepiece to mark the occasion and the world took notice.

They created a limited edition Hublot Titanium Blue Israel 45 mm watch. It features a blue face with Hebrew featured appliques and a prominent Star of David. The blue alligator leather strap is stunning. It also features sapphire anti-reflective glass. A 38 mm ladies’ version is in production.
